For over 15 years, Laura has been involved in teaching, leading, mentoring, facilitating, and counseling in the mental health field with a wide scope of clientele, both in an inpatient hospital setting and in private practice. With a deep knowledge on issues involving anxiety, depression, parenting, grief and loss, and stress management, she has developed a style of gentle honesty using humor paired with neuroscience-backed techniques to raise the quality of life for all. Additionally, she has facilitated numerous support groups over the years for women’s empowerment, caregivers for the elderly, and spouses of those on the Autism spectrum. Most recently, she has been certified through the Asperger and Autism Network (AANE) to work with neurodiverse individual adults as well as couples. Laura has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University and is a Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor.
