Kristie Dahlia Home is a teacher, healer, and writer with a wide-ranging practice and over 25 years of experience. Her work draws upon a lifetime of study in yoga, meditation, and healing touch. Dahlia served as a Yoga Therapist with Clinician status at UCSF’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, teaching in both the clinic and medical research, and has taught for Dr. Dean Ornish’s Preventive Medicine Research Institute, the UCSF School of Nursing, and California Pacific Medical Center’s Institute for Health and Healing. She offered Reiki training for CPMC’s Holistic Nursing and Integrative Medicine Education Programs. At the Integral Yoga Institute, Dahlia was a longtime member of the Teacher Training faculty, and she taught Thai Massage both there and at the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Dahlia’s 2002 book, “Yoga, Natural Fitness for Body and Spirit,” has been translated and published worldwide. Currently, her public offerings focus on meditation and mindfulness. Her students say that they appreciate her warmth, wisdom, contagious love of life, gift for verbalizing the ineffable, and keen attention to the unique needs of each individual.
